Marble cleaning services

Deep Cleaning Marble

We start every stone floor job with a deep clean to remove any debris, grease, dirt or older sealers from the floor. To do a deep clean, we use the correct abrasive pads or brushes on a heavy duty rotary machine. During the clean the grout lines are also cleaned.

After the clean and agitation, we use a hot water extraction machine to remove the dirt by rinsing the floor with hot water and a bit of pressure, while extracting the waste at the same time.

After the deep clean has finished we start to work on restoring the surfaces by the methods below.

Marble Refinishing

Is your marble floor very dull or scratched, please call Remarkerble and specify the finish you need. If you have a new floor with some tiles that look more glossy than others – Remarkerble can even out the finish for you, making it more uniform throughout and deliver a beautifully restored marble finish.

Marble Grinding

Are your tiles uneven or have any lippage (where one tile is higher than the other)? Do you want your tile floor flattened and smoothed off to make it easier to keep clean? Remarkerble can grind away the excess stone to create a flat, level surface using state-of-the art diamond grinding technology and a heavy duty machine.

Once ground to the level desired, the marble is honed and polished to the finish you desire.

There is no dust as this is all done wet and all slurry from the stone is extracted so there is no mess left behind.

Marble Honing

With our marble honing services, our expert technicians can achieve a honed or soft matte finish that is warm, inviting, and velvety smooth, making your floor look like new again.

Marble Polishing

If you prefer a polished look to your floor, Remarkerble can polish your marble using diamond resins, pads or polishing powders to restore the finish you desire, whether its matte, semi-gloss or gloss finish.

Impregnating / Sealing Marble

Some natural stone types are more porous than others, and the more porous a natural stone is, the more susceptible it is to staining. Your marble will be easier to keep clean with an added sealer. There are a variety of sealers available such as a matte finish or a colour enhancing impregnating sealer.

Maintaining Marble

After your floor has been restored, we will provide you with some aftercare maintenance instructions with the correct procedures and cleaning products to use.

We also recommend having your natural stone floor professionally cleaned every year to maintain its beauty.
